Agenda for Meeting:
Subject: Prayer: In today’s meeting, we will discuss prayer, what it is, and why it is so good for the soul. The Vatican has recently installed exorcists because of the problems with youth and apparent demonic activity in Italy. One of the key things that Christ did in His public life before His death on the Cross was to heal people from the effects of demons. It is a timely subject as the world needs Christ’s help, and we need to learn about this aspect of Christ’s mission. With great care and deliberation, and with respect due, we will discuss this topic as oen of the subjects of prayer.
I. Prayer.
II. Aquinas (“My Way of Life”): Gayle Boyer, OPL, on the nature, characteristics of Angels, from a Thomistic approach.
III. Book Review: An Exorcist Tells His Story, by Fr. Gabrielle Damorth. Leslie Fitzpatrick, OPL will give a run down of this book, the importance of this subject, and prayer. Handout: St. Leo XII Prayer.
V. Meeting: Both First Year and Professed meet together.
